Leavin' on a Jet Plane.... and a Disclaimer

So, we're packed up. Sitting at my parents' house. Trying to summon the will to leave Meron. I think it would seem like more fun if we actually got to bring the big kids home, but since we don't, this trip seems impossible. We get to meet our kids... I'm really excited about that. However, we have been instructed not to try to bond with them in any way. In fact, if they haven't figured out who we are, it would be best if we don't tell them and act like two random, odd looking people who play with all of the kids and admire ours from afar. It kind of takes some of the fun out of it... but we'll all be okay. Really. (I may just be trying to convince myself)
So.... the disclaimer....

Don't watch blog videos for the next few weeks. We made videos for Meron to address many different occasions and they will be posting on the blog. I mean... you can watch if you want. But... as Nathan said, "I think we left a little bit of our dignity on that bedroom floor..." We will be posting a bunch of fun videos of other people that Mer likes, so feel free to watch those. They won't leave you trying to make yourself meet our eyes if you ever see us. ;-)

Send some good vibes our way if you've got 'em... and send some the way of the little shaver.

Being educated...

Stole this from C.
I feel enlightened.... and very scared for Mer's education. So what, exactly, do we do about it?

Oh Mimi...

Now we are three...

The cake (I assure you, I didn't make it. My mom did. But most of you who know me probably guessed that...)

The doll house (this I did help make... which you can probably tell):

The baby: she blinks, sucks on her bottle, laughs when tickled, cries when hungry, snores, and sings like Mer did. Oh, and she came with a doctor kit. Best. Present. Ever. Thanks Grammy!

The mask and cape. So CUTE! Mer has been super Meron all day today.

The park:

Some way cute clothes:

A truly fabulous red sequined purse that Mer has dubbed the "Big Papa" purse (she has been calling my grandpa 'Big Papa' lately. When she found out that the purse was from Great grammy and Big Papa she began calling it the Big Papa purse. My grandma is really more of the red sequined purse sort than my grandpa is... but whatever)
And then home where we spent a significant amount of time watching her new "Toy Story" movie and lounging around in colorful leggings thanks to the Schutz side of the family.
It was a great day. Thanks to all for loving her so much.
