Okay, we didn't actually go trick or treating... Meron's not really allowed to have candy, so it seemed pointless. We went to Nathan's taekwondo gym and handed out candy there. It was pretty fun.. we had enough candy for 500 kids, and we ran out about 1/2 hour before we were supposed to be done!
Meron had a fabulous time. She especially liked the little girls in princess dresses. She kept saying, "Oooo" when a little girl with a frilly dress came in. It kind of made me feel bad for dressing her like a turtle, because apparently she wanted to be a princess instead. One of my many failings as a mother, I am sure. Sadly, these are the only pictures we have, because my camera batteries died. Oh well, you get the idea. It was pretty cute to watch her crawl!
She is too cute in that turtle costume. The princess would have just gotten in the way of her crawling so this was a great choice!

ReplyDeleteokay -- double comment on this post. Is it me, or does Meron look itty-bitty tiny in these pictures? Is it that turtle-green is sliming and I need to be wearing it all the time, or is she just tiny. How much did she weigh at her 1 year check-up?
